STRAP 2024 – Enhancements
This video covers the enhancements for the upcoming version of STRAP 2024.
Multi-Storey
This video demonstrates the new multi-storey sections option in STRAP 2024.
Cold formed steel
This video covers how to define cold-formed steel sections with CROSEC software and import the sections into STRAP.
Space Shell
A hemispherical shell with an opening at its top is loaded with point loads along its edge. As the geometry and loading are symmetrical, only one-quarter of the shell is modeled.
Seismic Analysis
The aim of the seismic analysis is to calculate the reaction of the model to earthquakes. This example describes the method to analyze the structure using Modal Analysis. Modal Analysis is the accepted method and is recommended by most design codes. The reaction of the model for each mode shape is calculated according to the response spectrum given by the seismic code.
Reinforced Concrete Column Design (solid section)
How to design a reinforced concrete column with an arbitrary cross-section defined by the user. The model is a simple one-member column, loaded with an axial load and moment.
Concrete Slab Deflection
Reinforced concrete slab deflection calculations based on cracked section, reinforcement ratio, and concrete creep & shrinkage.
